The Nailsea Beer and Cider Festival is a summer weekend of real ales, West Country ciders and live music at Nailsea & Backwell Rugby Club on West End Lane. It is run for charity, raising thousands for local and regional causes each year, with local businesses sponsoring the barrels.

Over three days there is a range of cask ales and ciders to work through, with a DJ on the Friday and live bands through the rest of the weekend. It has a sociable, community feel and suits real ale and cider fans as well as groups of friends after a good night out. Free buses link Nailsea, Backwell and the railway station on the Saturday and Sunday, so it is easy to leave the car at home.
