## About

Wells Comedy Festival has been bringing leading comedians to England's smallest city since 2015, over one packed weekend in late May. Its line-ups mix big-name stand-ups with rising stars, and past performers include Harry Hill, Stewart Lee, James Acaster, Sara Pascoe, Joe Lycett and Rosie Jones.

Shows take place in intimate venues across the city, such as the Little Theatre, so audiences see household names in a far closer setting than a big arena. Each show is ticketed separately and the most popular sell quickly, so it pays to book early. It suits comedy fans of all kinds, and Wells itself makes a characterful base for a weekend of laughs.
