Short version: Somerset Festivals sets no cookies, has no adverts or tracking pixels, and doesn't ask for or store any personal details. Last updated 28 October 2026.
Who we are
Somerset Festivals is an independent festival listings site run by G&V LABS (Goram & Vincent).
Cookies
None. The site doesn't set cookies, so there's no cookie banner.
Visitor numbers
We don't currently count visits. If we start, it will be with a cookie-free tool, and this page will say so first.
Things stored on your device
One small setting can be saved in your own browser (not sent to us):
- Save the date: when you save a festival, its name and dates are kept in your browser so the button remembers it.
Clearing your browser's site data removes it.
Weather forecasts
The weather shown on festival cards comes from Open-Meteo, a free weather service. Your browser asks Open-Meteo for the forecast directly, so they receive a normal web request from your device. No personal details are sent.
Hosting
The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which handles every request to keep the site fast and secure. Fonts and images are served from our own site, not from third parties. The homepage video is currently loaded from bristolfestivals.co.uk, the hosting of our sister site, so your browser makes a normal request to that server for it. No personal details are sent.
Links to other websites
Festival pages link to organisers' own websites, ticket sellers and social media. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and we're not responsible for them.
Your rights
Because we don't collect personal data through the site, there's normally nothing for us to access, correct or delete. If you email us, we only use your message to reply.
