About Wells Food Festival

Wells Food Festival is a one-day celebration of local food and drink that turns the medieval city centre into a giant food market. It has been running for more than a decade and takes place each autumn.

Around 200 stalls spread around the Market Place and nearby streets, with producers, street food, drinks, cookery demonstrations, talks and tastings. Entry is free, so you can graze, chat to the people who make the food and browse at your own pace. It suits food lovers, families and anyone stocking up on local produce, with the historic streets of Wells making a handsome backdrop.
