About Bath Bachfest

Bath Bachfest is a compact winter festival celebrating Johann Sebastian Bach and his contemporaries, run by the charity behind Bath Mozartfest. Over three days it presents a handful of concerts by fine baroque performers, with recent editions featuring Solomon's Knot and The Sixteen alongside the Bachfest Ensemble of early-career musicians.

Concerts take place in three striking settings: Bath Abbey, the Georgian Guildhall and St Mary's Bathwick. Programmes have included late-night concerts as well as dramatic opening nights, and the short format suits a winter weekend away. It will appeal to early music fans and lovers of choral music.
