About Somerstock

Somerstock is the big live music weekend of the Somerton Music & Arts Festival, a community celebration that has been bringing the town together since 1988. Two outdoor stages on the Recreation Ground host a mix of local and touring bands from Friday evening right through Saturday night.

Alongside the music there are food and drink stalls, bars, retail traders and a Kids' Zone with face painting and entertainers, making it a proper family day out. Under-12s go free, and camping and parking can be added for those who want to stay over. Run by volunteers, the festival gives its proceeds back to local good causes.
