Minehead & Exmoor Music Festival
About Minehead & Exmoor Music Festival
The Minehead & Exmoor Music Festival is one of the longest-running classical festivals in the South West. For more than sixty years Minehead has welcomed a symphony orchestra of musicians from across the UK for a week each summer, giving concerts in a town that sits between Exmoor and the sea.
The week brings orchestral and chamber concerts under conductor Christopher Stark, with David Juritz as leader, along with a young musicians' recital and internationally renowned soloists. Local hosts and loyal audiences give it a warm community feel. Concerts are booked through the Regal Theatre box office, with priority booking for Festival Friends.
